Im vergangenen Herbst verbrachte ich drei Tage in Bratislava, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Stadtzentrum ist geprägt von wunderschönen historischen Gebäuden, die den Einfluss der ehemaligen kaiserlich-königlichen Monarchie widerspiegeln. Überall gibt es zahlreiche Pubs und Lokale, in denen gute Musik spielt und reges Treiben herrscht. Zudem bietet sich die Möglichkeit, eine Bootsfahrt auf der Donau zu machen. Besonders beeindruckend war der Ausblick vom Bratislaver Schloss, von wo aus man einen fantastischen Blick auf die Brücke und die Donau hat. Spontan entschied ich mich für die Rückfahrt per Schiff in Richtung Wien – eine Erfahrung, die ich jedem nur empfehlen kann.

Last fall, I spent three days in Bratislava to explore the city. The city center is characterized by beautiful historic buildings that reflect the influence of the former imperial-royal monarchy. There are numerous pubs and bars everywhere, where good music is played and there is a lively atmosphere. There is also the opportunity to take a boat trip on the Danube. The view from Bratislava Castle, from where you have a fantastic view of the bridge and the Danube, was particularly impressive. I spontaneously decided to return to Vienna by boat – an experience I can only recommend to anyone.
