Während meines letzten Urlaubs besuchte ich die zu Italien gehörende Insel Sardinien. Obwohl die Nachbarinsel Korsika bergiger ist, bietet Sardinien weit mehr als nur Strände. Ein Highlight sind die Wasserfälle von Monte Ferru. Für den Weg dorthin sind festes Schuhwerk und etwas Ausdauer erforderlich. Doch hat man erst einmal das Ziel erreicht, wird man mit atemberaubenden Wasserfällen belohnt. Dort kann man sich in den kühlen Fluten erfrischen – was ich sehr empfehlen würde – und genießt dabei einen fantastischen Blick bis hin zum Meer. Ein Erlebnis, das ich jedem nur ans Herz legen kann.

During my last vacation, I visited the island of Sardinia, which belongs to Italy. Although the neighboring island of Corsica is more mountainous, Sardinia offers much more than just beaches. The waterfalls of Monte Ferru are a highlight. You will need sturdy shoes and a bit of stamina to get there. But once you have reached your destination, you will be rewarded with breathtaking waterfalls. There you can refresh yourself in the cool waters – which I would highly recommend – and enjoy a fantastic view as far as the sea. An experience that I can only recommend to everyone.
