Während meines letzten Urlaubs in Italien hatte ich die Gelegenheit, die faszinierende Region Kalabrien zu erkunden. Meine Reise führte mich auch nach Neapel, wo ich den majestätischen Vulkan Vesuv besuchte. Die Stadt war voller Leben und Energie, und die Hitze war nahezu unerträglich, was die Erfahrung noch intensiver machte.

Für mich gibt es zwei Italien: Das eine ist das geschäftige, moderne Norditalien, und das andere ist das traditionelle, entspannte Süditalien. In Kalabrien und Neapel spürt man sofort, dass das Lebensgefühl anders ist als im Norden. Die Menschen hier leben in einem ständigen Wechselspiel zwischen Hektik und Gelassenheit. Die Städte sind lebendig und voller Trubel, doch gleichzeitig strahlen sie eine gewisse Ruhe und Gelassenheit aus, die schwer zu beschreiben ist.

Die Landschaften in dieser Region sind atemberaubend, mit ihren malerischen Küsten, historischen Stätten und dem allgegenwärtigen Vesuv, der majestätisch über der Bucht von Neapel thront. Die Kultur und Traditionen sind tief verwurzelt, und man spürt überall die Geschichte und den Stolz der Menschen auf ihre Heimat. Es ist eine einzigartige Mischung aus Vergangenheit und Gegenwart, die den Süden Italiens so besonders und unverwechselbar macht.

During my recent vacation in Italy, I had the opportunity to explore the fascinating region of Calabria. My trip also took me to Naples, where I visited the majestic volcano Vesuvius. The city was full of life and energy, and the heat was almost unbearable, which made the experience even more intense.

For me, there are two Italias: one is the busy, modern northern Italy, and the other is the traditional, relaxed southern Italy. In Calabria and Naples, you immediately sense that the attitude to life is different from the north. The people here live in a constant interplay between hustle and bustle and serenity. The cities are lively and full of hustle and bustle, but at the same time they radiate a certain calm and serenity that is difficult to describe.

The landscapes in this region are breathtaking, with its picturesque coastlines, historic sites and the omnipresent Mount Vesuvius, which towers majestically over the Bay of Naples. The culture and traditions are deeply rooted, and you can feel the history and pride of the people for their homeland everywhere. It is a unique blend of past and present that makes the south of Italy so special and unmistakable.
