St. Tropez, ein Juwel an der Côte d’Azur, pulsiert vor Leben, das durch die Ströme von Touristen noch verstärkt wird. Überall laden zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants dazu ein, sich niederzulassen und das bunte Treiben zu beobachten. Besonders der Hafen ist ein Zentrum der Aktivität, wo man zwischen den millionenschweren Yachten flanieren kann. Für mich war der Besuch der Gendarmerie von St. Tropez ein besonderes Erlebnis, da sie als Kulisse für die berühmten Filme mit Louis de Funès diente, in denen er den legendären, etwas tollpatschigen Polizisten spielte. Abseits des Trubels gibt es auch ruhigere Sandstrände, die eine Auszeit vom geschäftigen Stadtleben bieten. St. Tropez ist sicherlich kein Ort für diejenigen, die Stille suchen, denn hier ist fast überall reges Treiben.

St. Tropez, a jewel on the Côte d’Azur, pulsates with life, which is further enhanced by the streams of tourists. Numerous cafés and restaurants everywhere invite you to sit down and watch the hustle and bustle. The harbor in particular is a hub of activity, where you can stroll among the million-dollar yachts. For me, a visit to the gendarmerie of St. Tropez was a special experience, as it served as the backdrop for the famous films starring Louis de Funès, in which he played the legendary, somewhat clumsy policeman. Away from the hustle and bustle, there are also quieter sandy beaches that offer a break from the busy city life. St. Tropez is certainly not a place for those seeking tranquillity, as almost everywhere here is a hive of activity.
